Learn to Sail, Basic Sailing 

Ages 12 and up (Over 85Lbs). Learn easy sailing with a single sail boat during two class room and two at Budd Lake water sessions. Understand how a single sail boat works with experienced, SEAS Morris certified instructors. Learn and practice your new found skills on the 14ft 9” Aqua Finn Daysailer. The Basic Sailing Class will teach you winds, knots, optimal sail positions, components of the boat, rigging the full sailboat, water safety procedures, rights on water ways, reading the weather.

A one year SEAS membership is included with the purchase of the class.

Class fees are refundable up to 14 days prior to the initial Zoom session (Tuesday). After this date, cancellation prior to the initial Zoom session will result in a credit toward enrolling in a similar SEAS Morris class later in the season or the following season. Credit is not transferable to other SEAS chapters.
